Voyage In The Spirit
The ways of the spirit is like the move of the wind.
Yes, we live again in the days of great moves of the spirit but it is not after the first order that has now become regimented, traditional and became a monument for some.
Most great moves of God were rather seen as controversial in those days but had now become acceptable today. Pioneers were rather mis- understood, rejected, stigmatized or labelled by the authorities that be, then. Do you know there is a repeat of this in every age. What is more bewildering is that those great encounters have rather been venerated and made antiquated by traditions and men chose to remain at those spots, setting up monuments instead of movements.
Jacob on the night he had the encounter of heaven on earth at Bethel did not understand the move of the spirit, he rather marked the place, and made a monument instead of entering the voyage of the spirit. He ended up marrying two women, getting a bonus of two others and a football team of sons with an extra player Benjamin before he heard the sounding of the alarm of the spirit for the journey/voyage of the spirit.
Friends this voyage is a call to depths in God, a conformity to the image of His Personality. It is a voyage to win the trophy of Christ personified and exemplified. It is a move of the spirit bidding us into the torrential wave of the spirit's revelations.
