...An Army Rising

Sound the alarm! There's an Army Rising...
"Blow the ram’s horn trumpet ...!
Trumpet the alarm ...!
Shake the country up! ... a huge army is coming.
There’s never been anything like it and never will be again.
Wildfire burns everything before this army and fire licks up everything in its wake.
Before it arrives, the country is like the Garden of Eden.
When it leaves, it is Death Valley.
Nothing escapes unscathed.
... At the sight of this army, the people panic, faces white with terror.
The invaders charge. They climb barricades. Nothing stops them.
Each soldier does what he’s told, so disciplined, so determined.
They don’t get in each other’s way. Each one knows his job and does it.
Undaunted and fearless, unswerving, unstoppable.
They storm the city, swarm its defenses, ... They arrive like an earthquake, sweep through like a tornado... Look at the size of that army! And the strength of those who obey him!"
-Culled from Joel's Second Chapter

Soldiers go through rigorous training, learn discipline and prompt obedience. They spend several years to train, not how to respond to particular situations, but how to obey every command.
In our daily walk, we have rehearsed ready made responses to questions and memorized reactions to circumstances forgetting that we have a living God who still speaks. David pursued, Joshua waited and went around another time. You say its contradictory but it is not. God isn't raising an army that can't change strategy midway. David was a mighty man of war. War strategies didn't make David great, God's word did.

Soldiers obey the last command. Our daily living should be based on God's proceeding word for the moment and not what we he commanded yesterday. We must be established in present truth. Denominations abound because each group sticks to a single word from God and considers it ultimate. God requires us to be open for new instruction and direction.
It will interest us to know that God's army comprises special forces to the streets, schools; intelligence forces in  world of arts and science; elite forces to the corporate world; full time 'soldiers' dedicated to raise and train other soldiers, irrespective of the field to which they were deployed.
Let's pause and reflect on this here: Have you been enlisted?
To what field have you been deployed?
Are you still conscious that you are in that office for a purpose?
You were deployed for such a time as this!
Stand out, lift up the banner with your life not your new year theme stickers.

It's time to agree with our brethren, together we are a force!
Let's pick up the wounded to nurse them, instead of killing them. Some may not look conventional, yes they are peculiar!
Truly, if we are not sensitive, we will pass by our brethren because they are a peculiar (strange) people. We need to be alert because God's soldiers are arising from the most unimaginable places and they look nothing like the conventional Christian.

Get enlisted today!
Visit the nearest camp near you and report for enlistment!
Listen to the orders been chanted from above and remember:
"Each soldier does what he’s told, so disciplined, so determined.
They don’t get on each other’s way. Each one knows his job and does it.
Undaunted and fearless, unswerving, unstoppable."
