...PASSOVER BEFORE PENTECOST

The word Pentecost has become so popular and so well associated with a denomination but there's more to it definitely. Pentecost means more... Passover is definitely a lead to same.

The Scriptures are full of Divine Patterns and orders, enshrined in the various events and trends as we read from the Old Testament to the New Testament, permit me to say we read from the reviewed Contracts i.e The Old Contract and the New Contracts. It is line upon line... we see the fullness of the stature emerging!

There is currently an emergence of the full stature.

Agreed, the day of Pentecost was a celebration in the old testament "The Feast of Weeks" 7 weeks i.e 50th day from passover. The Passover is a celebration of the death angel passing over the Hebrews because they were covered by the blood of the Lamb!

It is a feast of Harvest.

‪#‎Pentecost‬ in the old testament was when the law was given, in new testament it is when the Holy Spirit was given!

We celebrate Pentecost Sunday as the birth of the church.

Pentecost Sunday is not about going to Church but about Being the CHURCH!

Passover is about death ; Pentecost is about life.

PENTECOST is not a day, neither is it a denomination, its not just an event but an experience!

We have played 'Church' long enough, there has to be a change. We must have Principles and Power, Truth and Grace, Intelligence and Passion. It takes foundational truth to cause spiritual awakening because:

"When ever there's an object in light there will always be a shadow"

Our God is not reasoned, He is revealed. 

God will reveal himself so we don't miss an opportunity to be saved!

God revealed Himself in the death and resurrection of Jesus. And hope you know, Jesus did not just die for what you used to be, but for what you are about to do, the blood is enough, He died for your past, your present and your future!

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Rom 6:1

Jesus took our guilt so that we could have His Innocence! For in Him we live and have our being Acts 17:28. Now here's it, we cannot be in Him and still live in sin, yet its not by 'doing' but 'being'!

Jesus opened the door for all to come in, and a demand /responsibility was placed on us, as we must cease to live to our selves, for Him to live through us!

Before we can experience Pentecost we must experience the Pass - Over (our self/carnality passed over by the Spirit, flesh crushed to death!

Yes, Passover means DEATH that's the Biblical Pattern!

God is too responsible to entrust Himself to persons who cannot  have faith/trust Him with their lives. Yes we were saved by GRACE through FAITH Eph 2:6. There's got to be death to self, a crushing point, a yielding point, a Golgotha (Place of Skulls) Hmmm! that's a discussion for another day! All we need do is SURRENDER OUR TOTALITY and take advantage of Grace, His Provisions for us to live out His Life!

Sacrifice: The Lead to the Next Phase!

"Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." - John 12:24

Jesus did all He could do in the form He was in, there is no way for Him to be fruitful unless He died. Are you willing to go through a metamorphosis in order to be fruitful in another level? 

Most persons are locked out of the Harvest because they don't participate in the sacrifice! No wonder Paul said:  I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I: it is no longer I that live... there is a place for SACRIFICE! It is the only way to the next dimension. You cannot have a birth without a seed! The seed is JESUS and the seed is planted by burial!

The Harvest demands Sacrifice and if Jesus could not get past it, how can you?

You gotta die to your OLD WAYS!

We can't walk in our OLD attitudes, our dispositions, or in our own way and still accomplish His will! 

We can't talk about ‪‎Pentecost‬ without Passover!

If there were no exceptions for Jesus, then will there be any for you...?

If Pentecost were the Birthday of the Church, then there has to be an Impregnation of the LIFE of Christ [Passover]!

‎Pentecost‬ marks off the 50 days gestation period of the church...

 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, and they were in one place in one accord... suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.... cloven tongues of fire...." -Acts 2:1-4

Have you ever asked why was there noise and Cloven tongues in Acts 2 but not in Acts 4, 10, 19... Yeah! It was the Inauguration of the Holy Ghost

The Inaugural Service and the Commissioning of the Church!

As long as there was only one Jesus, he could only be in one place at a time to heal the sick, raise the dead etc, but after Death/Resurrection and at the Baptism of the Spirit, He is now placed in us ALL, so that we can go everywhere with Him. Can you imagine that? So many Jesus' walking the earth with exactly the SAME SPIRIT! For as He is so are ye now...! Whooops!

The same spirit that was in Jesus, that raised him up from the dead is INSIDE of you... That's why you don't have to take no junk. Power was released on us all.

There is more in me than you can see I have the Power of the Holy Spirit working within me
