"Game Over! You won!"
Have you ever seen that before? I know only my guys will understand that😉
Just imagine before a very competitive match between two renown rivals the Judges came up with such an announcement, can you describe the looks of everybody witnessing such? If you were the opponent declared winner,  how elated will you be?
Am sure you will like to know what happened, if I asked you to guess you may say someone was fouled and the match was awarded. Well, you may not be so far from it.

if you're battling some form of fear, guilt or addiction today, or struggling with negative or defeatist thoughts, I have good news for you. This day, we FIGHT! but not with any kind of natural lethal weapon, or any specialized kill squad but our faith.

Yes, it is our faith in God that grants us the ability to stand together through trying times and fight for what we believe. However, this fight is a special kind of fight called:
'fighting from the heavens' ask the great Commander Sisera and his commandoes how they were slain and why Sisera fled from war for the first time!
yes, it is fighting from rest! ...fighting from Victory! ...the fight of faith!

Its exciting if only we knew: although church folks use the 'christenese' fight of faith a lot, but don't really understand it. Well, this day we FIGHT! but how?

We enter every battle, conflict or challenge knowing who we are, whose we are and what we are! In the case of the dreaded General Sisera who commanded the army of a world power, his war jinx was broken when the constellations fought from above.
They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera (Judges 5:20).
"The stars in the sky joined the fight,    from their courses they fought against Sisera. The torrent Kishon swept them away,    the torrent attacked them, the torrent Kishon.    Oh, you’ll stomp on the necks of the strong!"
The Fourth Chapter of the Book of the Judges tells the story of the children of Israel, and their oppression for twenty years under Jabin, the king of Canaan, and Sisera, his captain (Judges 4:2). Deborah, who was the prophetess and Judge of Israel at the time sent for a man called Barak and prophesied to him that God would use him to deliver Israel (Judges 4:6-7). In the battle that followed, this was what happened

"...the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet" (Judges 4:15).

Though Sisera didn't know it, he was fighting against a heavenly host, not just the army of Israel. The Bible says, "...the stars in their courses fought against Sisera" (Judges 5:20). God's angels fought alongside the children of Israel to defeat their enemy. Time will fail to tell of the Wealthy man of the Orient- Job, if he had ever commanded his day, told the dayspring to know its place or given commands to the constellations to discharge, mazzaroth, orion, plaedes... hmmm! That's for another day anyway *smiles*.

First, as the children of Israel were being brutally oppressed by the king of Canaan, the Bible says they "cried unto the Lord; they prayed" (Judges 4:3). Also, Judges 5:2 says, they offered themselves willingly to the Lord. They turned to the Lord with all their hearts. Then, through prayer, they made contact with the heavenly army that fought on their behalf. Only a miracle of this nature could have destroyed Sisera.
Submitting ourselves to His word and following His leading is truly crucial for our TRIUMPH! Why run helter-skelter, seeking man's help when you can Fight from above?

When God says, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8:37), He wants you to have a certain kind of mentality — the mentality of a victor. With that mentality, you're confident that nothing can work against you. All things are working together...!

Approach every battle with a new mindset. Instead of trying to fight for victory, stand against the challenges you face from victory. It's important to understand that you don't have to earn the victory. You don't have to struggle for victory. The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus! 1 Corinthians 15:57, the Apostle Paul says...
"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Cor 15:57

This is not just talking about an occasional, once-in-a-while kind of victory. Notice what it says say in 2 Corinthians 2:14...
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ...
