INTENSITY

How has your day been, guess you are about closing for the day if you haven't already. Yeah, did I catch you slotting a message in that car or on that computer?

You see, to remain remain fired up on the go in the midst of our daily busy routines in a noisy world like ours, we definitely need to learn some Life Skills. They may not be convenient but expedient, we definitely cannot allow our soul to stay fallow soaking in garbage from random talks and obscene sights or songs filtering around.  We cannot afford to wait until we have all the time in the world especially with daily busy domestic and corporate work schedules. Haven't you also observed that if you continue that busy trend you would find yourself rusty, dull and losing touch with the things of the Spirit?

Lemme ask why does it seem weird to play gospel songs or messages but alright to play songs with no value morally or otherwise as entertainment in public space? Or to wake up and first thing in the early hours of the day you are greeted by weird news headlines then you are trapped in bickering conversations or people complaining bitterly, arguing over news headlines as we see in Radio Morning shows, how is that alright for our 'ear time' exposures at such hour of the day? Drive into the Mall, or the Gas Station, tune your radios what's on the airwaves?

We are wiser now, the world is evolving and we are too. Our phones have become mobile word dispensers and it cannot be too much. We will have to learn to practice what is known as 'pay as you go' for us, it's 'praying on the Go' and 'listening to messages on the Go'. Yes also add 'preaching on the Go' as you commute, change cabs or join staff buses, hijack the bitter, moody, sad, depressive companies of those who subscribe to these venture, create an atmosphere of saturated word vibes. The kingdoms of these world are becoming the kingdom of our God and of His Christ! Deliberately we learn and engage systems, taking over and setting Christ precedence.

Stock up your phone, iPod's etc with sound messages and listen with your handsfree devices as you drive, board that cab, or take that walk on the road. Why not? if your job permits use an earpiece, listen to messages as you work, it goes well with tongues!

Mutter tongues under your breathe as you go through your day even in traffic. Take a Tongue - Stretch! At lunch breaks practice a brief word and prayer culture where its possible.

We can't allow work be our excuse for spiritual laxity. Wait, what shall we say when we shake hands with Barrister Paul, I mean the Tent Maker and Apostle? What excuse really?

The Apostle Paul who wrote the larger percentage of the new testament was also working as a Tent Maker remember? Yet he acclaimed he spoke in tongues more than all the Corinthian Church put together. We could literally feel his fervency in the things of the Spirit and ministry in his letter. O dear recall we are enriched by Christ Jesus in all utterance, in all knowledge - its not a waste, engage it!
