LEGAL AND VITAL SIDES OF REDEMPTION (2)

I believe that our understanding of  the legal and vital sides of redemption, will be helpful to appreciate the 'Pauline revelations' because when we don’t distinguish between the Legal and Vital sides of redemption one could muddle up things.
As stated earlier, The Legal side is what God has already done for us in Christ. It was done through the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. It is a Finished Work.
The Vital – or, experiential – side is what God has done and is doing in us through the Word of God and the power of the Holy
Spirit.

When we fail to appreciate these aspects, we do not know what to do with Truth that
we are not yet experiencing.
Theologians have told us that this is “positional truth.” Well, we would  call it spiritual realities
You see, the Holy Spirit takes the “in Christ” Truths, reveals them to us and enables us to walk in them. The things of the unseen realm of spiritual reality belong to us and are ours. So what do we do with them? We perceive them and possess them by faith, while it's the ministry of the Holy Spirit to bring us to the place of revelation and then cause us to walk in these realities as we lay hold on the word.

Everything God has done for us in Christ is already our possession.
We are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in the unseen realm (Eph. 1:3). This is why Paul prays for us that we would have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of him, the eyes of our hearts being flooded with light (Eph. 1:17, 18 Amp.). As A.J.
Gordon once said, “Christian experience is the making real in ourselves, of what is
already true for us in Christ.”

Abba - Father, has already given us all things that pertain to Life and godliness (2 Pet. 1:3).
These things are to be appropriated by faith as the Spirit unveils them to us. They already
belong to us in Christ but we must possess them and walk in them.
Someone said: The Christian life is the ongoing joyful process of discovery and the unfolding of Christ Jesus and all He has accomplished for us. As we take time to meditate in the Word, we give the Holy Spirit materials to work with in our lives, as it becomes an opportunity to impart to us revelation that has transforming power. As we affirm these spiritual realities they become established in our walk. “But speaking the Truth in Love may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head – even Christ (Eph. 4:15).

One way to see the transition from spiritual to experiential realities is to "speak the word in faith", to say the same things that the word has said, not just assenting but speaking only what is said of us in faith not doubting, and enforcing such truths in prayers and meditations, enforcing the victory we already have where there seems to be mirage or variance in our daily lives. Yes, say the same thing like the word said of you only - Homologea!
You have heard it said: 'Fake it to make it' but I say to speak the word, insist on it, believe it till you experientially become it!
The word calls you blessed with all spiritual blessings, say so too!
The word says you were healed by His stripes, say so too!
The word says all things that pertain to life and godliness has been given to us, say so too!
You see, as we stand in faith and patience, we see the results of the word prevailing in us, through us, by us, as us, and for us. Take note, faith is not idle - it takes corresponding actions! Also, patience is not inactivity or docility, it is firmness in conviction, not shifting grounds, but sticking to the same word of God that you believe!

Fight the good fight of faith simply put, stand your ground, insist on the word and lay hold on eternal life i.e live in the reality of it, not just tell it as a story!
Circumstances come to dissuade us from the reality of the word/promise, but we are fully persuaded like Abraham who left home for a city... The promise was too real for him to stop his journey: because, he knew that city was a real city, he lived in the reality of what God has said. He refused to believe what people saw like he was a fugitive. He kept moving! Folks, that's laying hold!
